Biography
Sergey Ignatov was born and raised in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. From his early childhood he loved music, and so his mother enrolled him into a music school, where he took voice lessons. Soon he became bored with his studies and left the the school.

Already at 10 years of age, Sergey had organized his own band. He gained popularity through playing at local festivals, but soon he realized that he needed more education in music. So at 12, he went back to music school to study guitar and the upright bass.

By age 14, He had increased his knowledge of music substantially, and also began to write his own songs. During this time, Sergey organized a new band under the name "Requiem". In a short time, this rock band became popular with youth in his city and surrounding areas.

Thus, this group existed for 3 1/2 years. At one of his performances, Sergey was noticed by an influential person in the Russian music world, who invited him to join his professional band. And by 16, Sergey Ignatov began to gain experience on the big stage. Sergey spent 4 years with the band "Dvizhenie" (Movement), under the leadership of Yuriy Romanenko (the big shot!!!).

While playing in the band, Ignatov studied Jazz at a music insitute in Abakan, Siberia. While in this insitute, Sergey made the biggest decision of his life; he gave his life to God and started attending church. He started to play music in his church and began to grow spiritually as a result. Ever since then, Sergey's goal is to help people grow spiritually in their relationship with God, and increase their knowledge of His Word.
